Riviera the band
Riviera return to The Horn, after their recent appearance at Wilkestock Festival.
André Graça, born and raised in Beja, a small city in the south of Portugal where he attended the Regional Music Conservatory, home to his first steps as a musician. It was there that at the age of 6 André started learning his first musical instrument, the piano. He studied in that conservatory until he was 18, where he ended up learning percussion, the saxophone and composition, that would, later on, become crucial to his own songs.
After he finished High School he was accepted into the University of Hertfordshire UK where he is now studying Music Composition and Technologies for film and games.
After years of practice in the classical area, André then started working on new genres of music, including R&B, Pop and indie rock.
Inspired by artists such as Childish Gambino, Caravan Palace, Glass Animals and Ariana Grande, he ended up finding a passion for singing and songwriting, which lead to the creation of Midnight Ambassador, a Contemporary R&B/Indie Pop solo project that uses André's imagination, musical versatility and experience to break the barriers within this genre.
