THE CHAMELEONS
Formed in Manchester in 1981, The Chameleons helped shape the sound of post-punk with their atmospheric guitars, driving rhythms and emotionally charged songs. Their acclaimed albums Script of the Bridge, What Does Anything Mean? Basically! and Strange Times have earned them a devoted following and influenced generations of alternative bands.

Founding members Mark Burgess and Reg Smithies reunited in 2021, joined by Stephen Rice, Danny Ashberry and Todd Demma. In 2025, the band released Arctic Moon, their first full-length studio album in over two decades. Renowned for the intensity of their live shows, The Chameleons bring together songs from across their catalogue and a new chapter of music.
