ROLO VANGO

The group met in South East London, where the creative trail began and the band recorded their album ‘Elephants in the Castle’. Since then the band have developed their sound taking influences from different genres such as Jazz, Soul, Blues, and Hip-Hop resulting in the band forming a sound that is recognisable to them.

Kicking off this year, Rolo Vango have opened their account as a live entity, supporting for Tom Odell and selling out their first headline show at Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney.

This has all been made possible after original members Rosie, Lower and Yago were joined by the talented forces of Mati (guitar), James (drums) and Will (bass). The band are sharing their danceable, soulful sounds to the Capital and beyond.

Both singers and songwriters, Rosie and Lower introduce themselves throughout their music, reflecting on their past whilst also looking to the future, “rediscovering the powerful art of the duet”.
