ROLO VANGO

The group met in South East London, where the creative trail began and the band recorded their first single Pink Skies, which was to be the blueprint and the indicator of what was to follow. The collectives musical intention is a Jazz influenced Hip-Hop style that combines sampling and live recording, drawing on the collective's interests and expertise. There is also a hint of pop fused with their sound.

Kicking off this year, Rolo Vango have opened their account as a live entity, supporting Tom Odell and selling out their first headline show at Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney.

This has all been made possible after original members Rosie, Lower and Yago were joined by the talented forces of Mati (guitar), James (drums) and Will (bass). With festival season on the way, the band are sharing their danceable, soulful sounds to the Capital and beyond.

Both singers and songwriters, Rosie and Lower introduce themselves throughout their music, reflecting in their past whilst also looking to the future, "rediscovering the powerful art of the duet".
