Born of a friendship kindled in Secondary School, WIINK has stood the test of time as a tight three-piece through their formative years. Currently residing in a slug-infested house in Leeds, the trio has been churning out singles and playing gigs where possible, constantly striving to get their upbeat guitar-driven tunes into consenting earholes. Their four years on the scene have garnered them support slots with Strange Bones, Rascalton, Childcare and John Hassall (The Libertines), as well as their own headline shows in Leeds and their home base of St Albans. Whether you appreciate interesting lyricism about men made of grass and upchucking pasta, songs that stylistically range from dancey ska-fusion to lovestruck ballads or the simple pleasure of watching three sexy twenty-somethings play music, WIINK has something for you.
